Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation within our hospitality environment, ensuring that every guest experiences a spotless, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, uphold high standards of cleanliness, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive excellence in housekeeper management while fostering a positive and motivated team culture. Duties Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures for all areas including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and maintenance needs, providing feedback and coaching to team members Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry products, and custodial equipment to ensure availability and cost-efficiency Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, customer service standards, and hotel policies Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff through leadership, recognition, and ongoing development opportunities Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hospitality or hotel environments with a strong background in commercial cleaning Supervising or management experience leading housekeeping teams or similar service departments Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, laundry processes, and custodial best practices Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control inspections Excellent communication skills to coordinate with other departments and provide clear instructions to staff Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us as our Head Housekeeper to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience through exceptional cleanliness! $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
