Head Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility
• Train and supervise housekeeping personnel, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally
• Perform hands-on cleaning duties as necessary, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and management
• Knowledge of custodial practices and safety regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks as required
