To assist the area supervisor with the daily operations and work load needs in the housekeeping department fills in for the area Housekeeping Manager in case of absence. Performs duties of a housekeeper.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Inspect and survey for compliance with departmental housekeeping and cleanliness standards with proper documentation.
  • Assist Environmental Service Supervisor withstaff assignments and work scheduling.
  • Provide input for Environmental Service staff evaluations, as needed.
  • Demonstrate component and safe use of cleaning materials/equipment, and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and staff.
  • Participate in applicable/related educational programs.
Qualifications:
High school or G.E.D preferred. One to three years experience in healthcare housekeeping. Good communication skills
