Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and mentor the housekeeping staff, ensuring the team is motivated and working efficiently.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure they meet or exceed our cleanliness and safety standards.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and linens; coordinate with management to order new inventory as needed.

Workflow Coordination:

Assign daily room cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks based on hotel occupancy and guest check-in times.

Problem Solving:

Address guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring a "gold standard" solution every time.

Reporting:

Maintain records of room status, maintenance issues, and employee performance to keep hotel operations running smoothly.

Safety Oversight:

Ensure all team members follow proper sanitation practices and safety protocols regarding chemicals and equipment.

Requirements Proven Experience:

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is required; previous supervisory or lead-hand experience is highly preferred.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive, productive work culture.

Organization:

Strong time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a lively hotel setting.

Communication:

Clear verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with the front desk and management.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to be on your feet, walk, bend, and assist with cleaning tasks when the team needs an extra hand.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
