Responsibilities Supervise and support daily housekeeping operations while ensuring Marriott and Aloft cleanliness standards are consistently achieved Lead by example through hands-on cleaning duties, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, and preparing guest rooms for arrival Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, guest service expectations, and safety standards Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to quickly resolve guest requests and room concerns Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stocked Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects the upbeat and guest-focused culture of Aloft Hotels Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and associates Experience & Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or custodial experience required; hospitality experience strongly preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel operations preferred Knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and hospitality sanitation standards Familiarity with housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and inventory management practices Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a strong focus on guest satisfaction Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences Join the team at Aloft Buffalo Airport and help deliver the clean, comfortable, and welcoming experiences our guests expect from the Marriott brand.
