Facility Services Supervisor FLSA Classification:

Non-Exempt Job Summary:

The Facility Services Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Facility Service Team is performing effectively, efficiently and in compliance with established occupational safety, performance, and quality standards. This is a working Supervisor position.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly supervises, works with, and coordinates the team to effectively clean, stock and, service the customer sites according to company policies and procedures Responsible for the documentation of day to day activities including shift paperwork, task frequency compliance, and employee task scheduling Inspects the facility to ensure it meets documented cleaning and sanitation qualifications Responsible for monthly inventories of tools, chemicals, and supplies Instructing and training work methods and techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

High School Diploma Prior facility service and care experience Prior leadership experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Willingness to lead, take charge, offer opinions, and provide direction Ability to organize people and activities to maximize effectiveness Ability to gather data and make decisions regarding cleanliness and sanitation Excellent planning/organizational skills Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Willingness to take ownership of the department and to hold the team accountable

Floor scrubbers Carpet Extractors Vacuums Brooms, Mops, Squeegees, etc.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and balance Close mental and visual attention is required for cleaning equipment, adhering to processes and performing inspections Employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to work in multiple climates and work environments

Hours:

Second Shift Hours:

Vary per customer location but typically (8hr shift) within the hours of 4pm and 1:30am, or until job is completed, Monday through Friday.
