Hiring Rate:
$19.75 - $20.50/hr Hilton Pearl River, a full-service luxury hotel located 25 minutes from New York City in Rockland County (NY) and bordering Bergen County (NJ), is seeking a well-organized and energetic individual to join our exceptional team as Housekeeping Supervisor. Hilton Pearl River remains an innovative, forward-thinking hospitality leader by offering best-in-class products, services, and amenities to ensure that every guest feels cared for, valued, and respected. We are looking for a reliable, mature, and energetic person with supervisory housekeeping experience. The right candidate will inspect and maintain the cleanliness and physical condition of the hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, hallways and public areas. This position is F/T. Must be able to work weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
Directs and participates in the overall sanitation and safety of the hotel and team members in accordance with company standards and government regulations Determines cleaning assignments and establishes priorities; adjusts assignments based on changes in room occupancy or emergency clean-up requests; maintains an accurate record of assignments Ensures security of keys. Responds to guests' needs and requests; resolves guests' concerns Follows work procedures and expedites workflow to ensure timely, efficient service; communicates room completion and availability Inspects rooms, common areas, and stock rooms, and approves team member work performance; performs or delegates appropriate corrective action Reports unsafe conditions and maintenance service needs, including painting, repairs, furniture replacement, and upkeep Oversees the productivity and breaks of team members; communicates performance issues to the Director of Housekeeping Participates in the training of team members at the direction of the Director of Housekeeping; conducts daily pre-service meetings Demonstrates safe and correct use of environmental services equipment and chemicals Completes inventory of materials, supplies, and linens; manages usage and orders in alignment with budget Opens and closes the department; maintains security for department property, supplies, and operating funds Performs other duties as assigned by management Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education:
High School graduate or equivalent required
Experience/Requirements:
