In this vital role, you will assist in maintaining public areas, supporting housekeeping staff, and ensuring that all hotel spaces are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to creating a memorable stay for every guest. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a spotless environment. Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining shine on polished surfaces. Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies, changing linens in public areas, and delivering amenities to guest rooms as needed. Conduct routine custodial duties like trash removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of hotel equipment and storage areas, ensuring all supplies are organized and accessible. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution. Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial maintenance. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. Background in hospitality or hotel operations enhances understanding of guest service standards. Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use. Previous experience managing or supporting housekeeping teams is advantageous. Pay starting at $17.00/hour.
