Experienced Housekeeping Inspector

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated an assistant and detail-oriented Experienced Housekeeping Inspector to elevate cleanliness standards across our hospitality environment. This role will report and work closely to the Executive Housekeeping manager. In this vital role, you will oversee the quality and consistency of housekeeping services, ensuring that every guest room and public area meets our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards Identify areas needing improvement or immediate attention and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to resolve issues promptly Monitor cleaning procedures including dusting, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, and floor care to ensure top-quality results Oversee floor care operations such as carpet cleaning and tile maintenance to maintain a polished appearance throughout the property Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by inspecting equipment, supplies, and work areas regularly Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards Maintain detailed inspection records and report on operational performance to management Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping inspection within the hospitality industry or related janitorial environments Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment Familiarity with hotel operations, hospitality standards, and custodial best practices Excellent attention to detail with an energetic approach to motivating team members Ability to conduct thorough inspections quickly while maintaining high standards of quality Effective communication skills for training staff and reporting findings clearly Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is highly desirable Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
