This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any guest concerns related to housekeeping. Maintain records of maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance staff for timely resolution. Stay updated on industry trends in hospitality and cleaning practices to continuously improve service quality. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, and floor care procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
