Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to ensure consistent quality standards. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations. Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a motivated, efficient work environment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy rates and operational needs. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, laundry processes, and janitorial standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with hotel operations or hospitality management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to train staff on safety procedures and proper use of cleaning products and equipment. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments efficiently.
