Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor

Position Summary:

A Housekeeping Team Leader performs daily housekeeping tasks of the care community in-order to maintain a safe and sanitary environment while providing oversight to the housekeeping and laundry personnel. Position Responsibilities of a

Team Leader:

Clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms and care community offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas Maintains the schedule for the Housekeeping and Laundry departments Checks quality of work that is performed within both departments Follows all safety policies and procedures during daily tasks Assists with personnel training in the department Attend required in-service education Keeps utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean Follows appropriate Infection Control and Universal Precaution practices when performing department procedures Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors Cross training as laundry worker for special assignments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
