Job Description

This position plays a key role in the infection control program of the facility.

Responsibilities:
Supervise all housekeeping and laundry aides. Develop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility. Assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products. Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances. Develop and oversee staffing and supply budgets. Prepare and submit reports as requested. Assure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions. Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum or two (2) years housekeeping experience in an institutional environment
