This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, leading by example, and helping others succeed. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily cleaning operations, assist in supervising a team of four employees, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and foster a positive environment for both staff and guests This position begins with a 3-month paid training period at $19/hour . Upon successful completion of training, the employee will transition into the Assistant Manager role, with wages negotiable based on previous experience and performance. Responsibilities Perform residential and/or commercial cleaning duties using organic and eco-friendly cleaning products Assist in managing and supporting a team of 4 employees Ensure cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly, efficiently, and on schedule Train new employees on company procedures, safety standards, and proper cleaning techniques Provide guidance and support to team members to maintain quality standards Help coordinate daily assignments and communicate with management regarding team performance Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail Maintain equipment and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner Drive to various job locations as needed Qualifications Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license required Must be insurable to drive company vehicles or for work-related transportation Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the workday Join us as an Assistant Manager - Housekeeper to lead our dedicated team in creating exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness and service excellence.
