JOB SUMMARY

As the Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations department at one of our Community Based Care Communities. This position is responsible for providing direct supervision, assigning work, developing staff schedules, addressing resident and visitor requests, ensuring the completion of work to the standard, and ensuring excellence in maintaining a clean, safe, orderly and attractive resident care environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and supervises the Housekeeping Services, laundry and floor care staff according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements Lead and manage employee training, development, assignments, and schedules Prepare and manage departmental budgets, and monitor expenses to ensure that they remain within budgetary guidelines Provides leadership, support, coordination and guidance to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met Secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order Manage, organize, and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure that supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner Acts as liaison between building occupants or administrators and staff Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals Other duties as assigned
