Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Handle and resolve any guest complaints related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure availability and functionality. Prepare and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Participate in hiring and performance evaluation of housekeeping staff.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
