Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public spaces, laundry, and storage areas. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service. Develop and implement cleaning protocols that adhere to safety standards and hotel policies. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met or exceeded. Manage staffing schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and handle staffing issues promptly to maintain optimal coverage. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups that require extra attention or resources. Skills Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial settings. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial practices. Experience with hotel or hospitality operations is required. Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Leadership qualities that motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.
