Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor / Team Lead to help lead our housekeeping department and maintain the high standards expected within our private club environment. This individual will work alongside the housekeeping team daily while actively supervising operations, monitoring performance, and helping create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere throughout the clubhouse and property. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping the clubhouse and all other buildings beautiful, clean, organized, and member-ready at all times. This role requires someone with leadership presence, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to guide, coach, and correct staff when issues arise. This position reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness standards of the club for our members and guests. Key Responsibilities Supervise and work directly alongside housekeeping staff during daily operations. Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail. Help build and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment. Monitor staff productivity, quality of work, attendance, and overall performance. Provide coaching, direction, and correction when standards are not being met. Assist with training and development of housekeeping team members. Ensure all team members are following club standards and expectations consistently. Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout all clubhouse spaces and buildings Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure all areas remain member-ready throughout the day. Respond promptly to cleanliness concerns and operational needs. Ensure housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly. Communication & Accountability Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding operational needs and concerns. Help identify areas for improvement within the department. Maintain professionalism when addressing employee performance or member-facing issues. Support a culture of accountability, consistency, and teamwork. We are looking for someone who: Takes pride in creating a beautiful clubhouse environment for members. Is not afraid to step in, lead, and address issues directly when needed. Understands the importance of teamwork and leading by example. Can balance strong leadership with maintaining a respectful and positive team culture. Wants to help elevate the overall standards of the housekeeping department.

Salary Based on experience:

$20-$23 per hour, based on experience

Requirements:

Three of more years previous housekeeping supervisory or team lead experience required. Experience managing or supervising a team in hospitality, private club, hotel, or similar environment strongly preferred. Strong leadership personality with the ability to motivate, direct, and hold employees accountable. Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to remain proactive and visible throughout the clubhouse during shifts. Schedule Expectations This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Hours will fluctuate based on operational needs and club events. Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts. Schedule flexibility is required to ensure leadership presence across all housekeeping shifts. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
