In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of hygiene, and manage a team of cleaning staff to create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and maintain the impeccable appearance of our property. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and janitorial tasks, ensuring all standards are met consistently. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote high performance and professional growth. Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels while maintaining service quality. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Enforce health and safety regulations to protect staff and guests, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives during low occupancy periods. Requirements Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning tools, laundry processes, and janitorial best practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Experience managing inventory, supplies, and scheduling for large teams or facilities. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff and other departments. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, health regulations, and safety procedures.
