Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Inspector, where your keen eye for detail and passion for cleanliness will elevate guest experiences to new heights. In this vital role, you will oversee the quality and standards of housekeeping services across our property, ensuring every room and public area meets our high expectations for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Your proactive approach will help maintain a welcoming environment that delights guests and upholds our reputation for excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality setting while honing your supervisory skills. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards. Identify areas needing improvement and communicate clear, constructive feedback to housekeeping staff. Ensure all cleaning tasks—including dusting, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, and floor care—are completed to the highest standards. Monitor and evaluate janitorial and custodial activities, including industrial cleaning procedures when necessary. Oversee floor care operations such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard surfaces to maintain pristine conditions. Maintain detailed inspection reports and logs to track quality control metrics and follow-up actions. Support housekeeping management by assisting with training staff on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel standards for cleanliness, safety regulations, and guest service expectations. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues quickly and accurately. Effective communication skills for providing clear feedback and coordinating with team members. Ability to stand, walk extensively, and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties throughout shifts.
