Job Description
AD1 Global is a growing and successful hotel management company that is currently looking to hire a Housekeeping Inspector for their Myrtle Beach, South Carolina property, The Courtyard Barefoot Landing!!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the coordinator for housekeeping staff, housekeeping inspectors ensure that the company meets all cleanliness and condition requirements. Responsibilities include recording inspection results, resolving guest complaints and maintaining accommodations standards. Their role also involves developing and training other housekeeping staff. Additional duties may vary Housekeeping inspectors examine rooms prior to guests arriving and conduct inspections upon their departure to assess if any damages have occurred. They function as the primary contact between housekeeping personnel and other staff members to make certain that rooms are ready for guests. In addition to counting linens, they deliver amenities and help clean rooms as needed.Qualifications and Requirements:
Housekeeping inspectors must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail-orientated. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions and utilize good judgment benefits people in this position. Able to multi-task, establish priorities and communicate well with others. Have knowledge of computers and software programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, helps with this job. Must be familiar with housekeeping standards and current practices. Must have at least 1 year of Room Inspection in the Hospitality Industry. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to speak English preferred. This job requires ability to perform the following: Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 200 pounds Frequently standing up and moving about the facility Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling,Other:
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees. Basic reading, writing, and math abilities are utilized often when reading room assignments, completing checklists, replacing room linens and amenities. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Job Type:
