Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents or guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential or hospitality spaces. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and customer service skills will ensure that every space is spotless, organized, and inviting. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared spaces with attention to detail. Conduct floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality. Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, linens, and other essentials to ensure availability for residents or guests. Follow proper sanitation procedures in line with health regulations to promote a safe environment for all occupants. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential settings or commercial environments is highly desirable. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry roles is a strong plus. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices. Knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation. Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
