In this vital role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping operations, ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand and industry standards, and support the housekeeping team in maintaining a pristine, welcoming atmosphere. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will directly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold our reputation for exceptional service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation. Identify areas needing attention or improvement and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to address deficiencies promptly. Ensure adherence to established cleaning protocols, including floor care, sanitation procedures, and industrial cleaning standards. Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed. Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning schedules, and maintenance issues for accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with management to develop training programs focused on janitorial practices, hospitality standards, and safety compliance. Support the implementation of eco-friendly cleaning practices and ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within a hospitality or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, sanitation procedures, and industrial cleaning equipment. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations. Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for spotting cleanliness issues or safety hazards. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management seamlessly. Ability to manage multiple inspections efficiently while maintaining high standards. Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or checklists is a plus.
