In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation Ensure all housekeeping standards are met by checking bed linens, bathroom sanitation, floor care, and furniture condition Identify maintenance issues or safety hazards during inspections and report them promptly for resolution Verify that cleaning procedures align with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment Monitor staff adherence to cleaning schedules and protocols, providing guidance or feedback as needed Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of room status and issues found Assist in training new housekeeping staff on inspection standards and quality control procedures Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hotel or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot cleanliness issues quickly and accurately Effective communication skills to coordinate with housekeeping teams and maintenance staff Familiarity with hotel operations, housekeeping management practices, and safety protocols Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during inspections This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards in a vibrant hospitality setting.
