Housekeeper Manager Embassy suites Arboretum Austin Austin, TX 78759 From $50,000 a year - Full-time From $50,000 a year - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper Manager for a 150 room Embassy Suites Hilton hotel to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards across our property. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise cleaning staff, ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold high standards of hygiene, and foster a positive team culture that emphasizes excellence and hospitality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks. Develop work schedules to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with quality standards. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages. Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use. Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and ongoing performance feedback. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning services or custodial work within hospitality or commercial settings. Supervising or management experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role is essential. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and custodial best practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable. Ability to train staff on safety procedures and proper cleaning methods while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
