This leadership position is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and managing daily operations within the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality cleaning standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Develop and implement housekeeping schedules to optimize staff productivity and coverage. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good condition. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel or facility. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and incident reports. Skills Proven experience in hotel or hospitality environments with a focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests, staff, and management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
