Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn Express . The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the brand standards of IHG. This role is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Being able to speak both English and Spanish is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff in daily operations. Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and adherence to IHG brand standards . Coordinate housekeeping schedules, room assignments, and team responsibilities to ensure timely room turnover. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; ensure proper usage and storage. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Provide hands-on support in cleaning tasks as needed, especially during high occupancy. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies. Communicate effectively with front desk, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction. Address guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Participate in staff performance reviews and contribute to team development.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a branded hotel environment (Holiday Inn Express or similar standard preferred). Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of IHG brand standards is a strong advantage. High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certifications are a plus.
