This vital role ensures a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. As the Head Housekeeper, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, implement sanitation protocols, and maintain compliance with safety regulations to uphold the highest standards of environmental services. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team committed to excellence and efficiency. Duties Supervise and coordinate all cleaning activities within the facility, ensuring adherence to established standards of cleanliness and sanitation Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines Train and mentor janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety practices including floor care and environmental services Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health regulations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely replenishment Oversee sanitation procedures in sensitive areas such as healthcare or hospital environments, ensuring strict adherence to infection control standards Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and implement environmentally friendly cleaning practices Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning environments with a focus on hospital or healthcare settings preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning, sanitation, and environmental services Expertise in floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning Experience managing teams, providing training, and fostering a positive work environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Familiarity with cleaning equipment maintenance and inventory management Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management regarding safety protocols and operational procedures Join us as a Head Housekeeper to lead a dedicated team committed to maintaining a pristine environment that promotes health, safety, and comfort for all.
