In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and ensure that all guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities are spotless, well-organized, and welcoming. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hotel or facility areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently. Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms. Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning schedules during low occupancy periods. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles with a strong background in hospitality or hotel environments. Supervising or management experience leading teams in commercial cleaning or housekeeping settings. Knowledge of janitorial procedures, laundry operations, and custodial best practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
