Job Description
At Black Rock Health & Rehab , we believe every resident deserves a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We're seeking a dedicated Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry departments with excellence, accountability, and a hands-on leadership approach. This is a full-time, salaried leadership position . As a department director, this role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the facility, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary . Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the Housekeeping and Laundry teams Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate department staff Create and manage staff schedules Ensure the facility consistently meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation Maintain compliance with CMS, state, OSHA, and infection prevention regulations Conduct routine quality audits and inspections Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and supply ordering Collaborate with other department leaders to enhance the resident experience Address environmental concerns promptly and proactively Qualifications Leadership experience in environmental services, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or long-term care preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of accountability Working knowledge of infection control and safety standards preferred Reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional service What We Offer Full-time salaried position Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth A collaborative leadership team The opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day If you're looking for more than just a job—and want to help build one of Southern Utah's premier skilled nursing facilities—we'd love to hear from you.
