Hire, train and supervise all personnel in the Housekeeping Department. Prepare daily Room Attendant assignments, schedule all housekeeping personnel, submit all housekeeping records to GM, and calculate time cards if needed. Direct activities of the Housekeeping Department in furnishing daily cleaning services to guestrooms and public areas. Continually update the status of all rooms to the front desk. Verify final report with front desk. Inspect premises, guest rooms, linen rooms and public areas daily to assure that good standards of housekeeping are being maintained by all employees. Schedule special cleaning as required such as windows, carpet shampoo, general cleaning, and deep cleaning. Make certain Room Attendants report all needed repairs to the Executive Housekeeper or Inspector, who shall submit a work order to the maintenance department. Maintain a monthly inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens. Maintain control of employees' uniforms. Ensure that uniforms are worn, kept in proper condition and readily available at all times to employees. Maintain payroll records, housekeeping reports, requisitions and all reports required for the benefit of the hotel. Purchase all basic cleaning implements, supplies and equipment. Issue all supplies for cleaning of guestrooms and public areas. Ensure that all cleaning agents are properly diluted, labeled properly and used according to instructions. Upon delivery of supplies, verify with purchase order and enter in housekeeping supply inventory. Assure that all employee rules and regulations are followed. Report any deviations to the General Manager immediately. The Executive Housekeeper is personally responsible for the daily distribution and recover of all Room Attendant's keys. All room keys found by housekeeping personnel must be returned to the Front Desk. All lost and found items will be logged, locked up and be held for 90 day's The Executive Housekeeper must stress the need for all housekeeping employees to be courteous and helpful to all guests, perform their jobs efficiently and quickly at all times, maintain a pleasant demeanor, and be properly attired and groomed. Develop and execute an inspection program, which will ensure the maintenance of guest rooms, room cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards. Establish and maintain housekeeping laundry scheduling procedures, taking into consideration percent (%) occupancy, time and use of facilities, and related public area events. Oversee the day to day scheduling of assigned personnel, ensuring an adequate number of staff required to clean the property on any given "occupancy day". Must maintain a safe and accident free working environment. Skills you'll need: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior Housekeeping Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to stand/walk for entire shift. Lift up to 25lbs regularly, lift up to 40lbs occasionally. Ability to follow written or verbal instructions Ability to follow safety procedures.Benefits and Rewards:
