EHS Hospitality is looking for a 5-year veteran as a Director of Environmental Services & Patient Transportation Specialist a Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Norfork, VA . The Director needs Experience in the oversite and execution of (CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission and Cleaning HACCP and Patient Satisfaction. 90-100K Bonus Eligible Position Summary This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all EVS and patient transport functions, ensuring a safe, clean, efficient, and patient-centered environment that supports exceptional clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate has minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in acute care operations, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving patient throughput, and building high-performing teams in complex healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities v Provide strategic and operational leadership for Environmental Services and Patient Transport departments across all hospital areas v Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, disinfection, infection prevention, and patient safety v Oversee patient transport operations to ensure timely, efficient, and safe movement of patients, supporting clinical flow and patient satisfaction v Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory standards) v Monitor and drive performance through KPIs including quality assurance, patient experience, bed-turning times, and transport response times. v Collaborate with Nursing, Infection Prevention, Perioperative Services, Emergency Department, and Hospital Leadership v Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, dispatchers, and frontline staff across both departments v Manage departmental budgets, labor productivity, scheduling models, and supply utilization v Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality v Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards Qualifications v Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in acute care hospital operations (EVS, Patient Transport, or Support Services required) v Proven success managing multi-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment v Strong knowledge of infection prevention, hospital cleaning standards, and patient transport logistics/workflow v Demonstrated ability to improve operational metrics, patient flow, and service quality outcomes v Experience with budget management, labor optimization, and performance improvement initiatives v Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills v Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred) advanced degree a plus What We Offer v Competitive salary with performance-based incentives v Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) v Opportunity to work in a mission-driven pediatric trauma environment v Career growth and professional development opportunities Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter highlighting your leadership experience, operational achievements, and impact on patient care and throughput. #EHS2
