Housekeeping Manager

Overview The Housekeeping Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and managing daily operations within the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards and promote professional development. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for various areas of the facility, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Address guest inquiries or complaints related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner. Adhere to all IHG & Company Brand Standards Skills Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to motivate staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. This position is essential for creating a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring that all housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently.
