Environmental Services Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to lead and oversee cleaning, custodial, and hospitality services within our healthcare facility. As a supervisor, you will coordinate daily operations, manage cleaning teams, and ensure all standards of cleanliness and safety are consistently met. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff, including cleaning, laundry, and janitorial tasks across multiple departments or areas. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of all cleaning and maintenance duties. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness standards are upheld and identify areas needing improvement or immediate attention. Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for staff and visitors. Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Experience Proven supervising experience in cleaning services, custodial management, healthcare or hospitality environments. Extensive janitorial or commercial cleaning background with knowledge of proper sanitation procedures. Experience managing laundry operations within hotel or healthcare settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for housekeeping management is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments. Previous experience in managing inventory, supplies, and equipment for large-scale facilities.
