Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety Develop daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to maximize efficiency and quality. MOP Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities, providing feedback and coaching to uphold cleanliness protocols Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained Enforce health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests or special cleaning needs promptly and professionally Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial environments Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, polishing, stripping, and waxing floors Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly desirable Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and managing schedules effectively Skilled in various cleaning methods such as general cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialized industrial cleaning Ability to train staff on proper cleaning procedures while maintaining high-quality standards Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping management Ability to learn MOP and assist staff .
