POSITION SUMMARY
The House Manager/Housekeeper will oversee the care, cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the household. This individual is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes great pride in ensuring a high standard of living and hospitality and ensuring a pristine and inviting space that exceeds expectations. This is a trusted position requiring discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to daily operations. This role includes overseeing vendors, managing household schedules, and ensuring efficient daily operations.ABOUT THE HOUSEHOLD

Our ideal House Manager / Housekeeper takes initiative, sees what needs to be done, and creates order and calm in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the family's day-to-day life, household presentation, gatherings, and special events with excellence.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The home is always clean, organized, and visually appealing. Clothing and personal items are cared for with intention and precision. Pets are well cared for and household needs are anticipated. Events and gatherings run smoothly with thoughtful preparation and cleanup. Teenagers are lightly supervised with meals and reminders when needed. You lead with initiative, act with discretion, and take full ownership of your role.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage & maintain all family wardrobes, including laundry, ironing, steaming, folding, and understanding & care for high-end, delicate, and all clothing with close attention to garment care labels. Organize, hang, and rotate family wardrobes, including seasonal items and delicate fabrics. Provide organizational support for closets, drawers, and pantry systems. Daily tidying of all rooms and maintaining the household's visual standard. Make and refresh all household beds daily with precision and care. Maintain order and cleanliness in all rooms through regular tidying and organization systems. Perform light-duty cleaning (dusting, wiping, vacuuming) and wiping surfaces, keeping high traffic areas neat and overall organization throughout the home. Wash dishes, tidy the kitchen, and assist with meal prep and basic cooking support. Manage daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning tasks proactively. Prepare home for guests, events and travel including packing support.Support during gatherings:
setup, cleanup, guest prep, and household readiness.Mange outdoor tidiness:
Watering plants, wiping down patio furniture, and ensuring pool and outdoor spaces are guest ready. Feeding pets, light grooming, walking as needed, and maintaining cleanliness of pet areas. Run errands, shop for household needs. And manage supply inventory.Light childcare for teenagers:
preparing snacks, occasional meals, and providing a watchful, supportive presence. Maintain overall household presentation and order, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Ensure professional discretion and positive, helpful attitude at all times.COMPETENCIES
Highly motivated with a proactive mindset. Excellent time management and task prioritization. Eye for detail and household aesthetics; instinctively knows how things should look and feel. Impeccable attention to detail and organization. Strong knowledge of high-end fashion, luxury clothing brands, fabrics, and best practices for garment care. Ability to read and follow clothing labels and special care instructions.Organizational mindset:
ability to create and maintain systems. Professional etiquette, discretion in a private home, including respect for personal boundaries, and a positive helpful attitude always. Effective communication with family members and vendors. Ability to multitask and manage shifting daily priorities, schedules, and complete tasks independently. Initiative to take action without being told; anticipates family needs. Basic culinary skills, food prep skills, and comfort with light meal prep along with helping during entertaining. Pet-friendly and experienced with animal care including feeding, light grooming, and household cleanliness. Comfortable providing light care and support for independent teenagers. Positive attitude and teamwork with other household staff.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform physical household tasks for extended periods of time. Comfortable navigating household with stairs and multiple floors. Comfortable with indoor/outdoor work and being on your feet most of the day.COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
