As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Hotel 1000, Seattle, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, you will play a key role in ensuring guest rooms and public spaces consistently reflect the high standards of luxury, cleanliness, and comfort our guests expect. From inspecting guest rooms and supporting daily operations to coaching team members and ensuring service standards are met, you help create memorable stays for every guest who walks through our doors. What you'll do: The Nitty Gritty 2+ years housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety standards Ability to effectively communicate with team members, leadership, and other departments Must possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout scheduled shifts Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Brass Tacks Supervise and support housekeeping team members to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces to ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met Assist with training, coaching, and motivating housekeeping team members Support daily housekeeping operations including room assignments, inspections, and productivity tracking Ensure timely completion of guest room cleaning and special requests Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities Promote adherence to safety, sanitation, and proper chemical handling procedures Communicate effectively with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments regarding guest needs and room status updates Assist with opening and closing housekeeping procedures while accommodating operational needs in a timely manner Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable law.
