POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of the Environmental Services team is responsible to serve our customers, oversees the day to day operations of the Environmental Services department, and maintains the cleanliness of the organization by using guidelines set forth in environmental service policies. The Manager of Environmental Services demonstrates fiscal responsibility in development and management of the department budgets. He/she is accountable for regulatory requirements and is a leader in compliance with health and safety standards and guidelines. He/she must be a leader in Quality Measurement and Enhancement for the department. The Manager must be an effective facilitator between physicians, department staff, and other members of the health care team. This position is also responsible for providing supervision, allocation and maintenance of product and equipment; departmental projection and planning; scheduling team members.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required. A minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in healthcare Environmental Service strongly preferred. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred. Basic computer competency skills are expected.
Shift:
Monday-Friday, days. Some off hours as needed.
FTE:
1.0 (40 hours per week)
