Job Description

Executive Housekeeper - Hampton Inn DeForest The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading all housekeeping and laundry operations while ensuring exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Hampton by Hilton brand standards. As a member of the hotel's leadership team, this position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness throughout the property. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and develop housekeeping and laundry team members. Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities to ensure efficient operations and proper staffing levels. Coach team members to achieve performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and recognition. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on guest satisfaction and accountability. Ensure all team members are trained in safety procedures, brand standards, and company policies. Housekeeping Operations Oversee the cleanliness and appearance of all guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces. Conduct regular inspections to ensure Hampton Inn and company quality standards are consistently met. Maintain room readiness and coordinate closely with Front Desk and Maintenance departments. Assist with room cleaning, inspections, laundry operations, and deep cleaning projects during peak occupancy periods when necessary. Ensure all lost-and-found procedures are followed accurately. Inventory & Budget Management Monitor and maintain housekeeping inventories, supplies, linens, and equipment. Order supplies as needed while controlling expenses and minimizing waste. Implement and support environmentally responsible and sustainability initiatives. Assist in managing departmental labor and operating expenses to meet budget goals. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with all Hilton brand standards, company policies, OSHA regulations, and federal, state, and local laws. Maintain proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Promote a safe working environment for all team members and guests. Qualifications Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment required. Hilton or branded hotel experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and develop team members. Experience with scheduling, inventory control, and quality inspections. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items as required by the position. Why Join Hampton Inn DeForest? Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
