Position Summary:
Star Struck Cleaning, a partner of Bruner Realty & Management, is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day cleaning operations. This role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of work, including approximately 30 commercial cleaning contracts, apartment turnover cleaning, single-family home and sales cleanings, work-order cleaning services, and carpet cleaning. The Operations Manager will supervise a team of approximately 10-14 seasonal and full-time staff members while coordinating scheduling, staffing, customer communication, payroll administration, quality control, vendor relationships, and inventory management. This position is critical to ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Scheduling Coordinate and manage all commercial cleaning contracts, apartment turnovers, single-family home cleanings, sales cleanings, work-order cleaning services, and carpet cleaning projects. Schedule and assign work to in-house staff and preferred vendors to ensure deadlines are met. Communicate with property management teams and clients via phone, email, text, and property management software platforms. Receive, investigate, and resolve quality-control concerns, customer complaints, and service call-backs. Coordinate key management and access logistics for cleaning staff. Provide regular project updates and status reports to management teams and clients. Administration & Accounting Review and enter employee hours for bi-weekly payroll processing. Prepare and submit payables for non-contract cleaning services, including turnovers, house cleanings, and work-order projects. Track service visits and contract compliance through timesheet and operational reporting. Assist with business development by meeting with prospective clients, conducting property walkthroughs, preparing service proposals, and onboarding new accounts. Staffing & Team Management Schedule staff based on workload, location, availability, experience, and performance. Monitor staffing levels and proactively address workforce needs. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members as needed. Foster a positive, accountable, and productive work environment. Vendor & Inventory Management Coordinate carpet cleaning services with preferred vendors. Manage supply inventory and ensure all properties, storage areas, and office locations remain adequately stocked with cleaning materials and equipment. Maintain vendor relationships and assist with cost management initiatives. Qualifications Previous experience managing operations, field teams, or hourly staff in a service-based industry. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic accounting and payroll administration experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and mobile communication platforms. Comfortable handling high volumes of calls, emails, and text communications. Understanding of cleaning procedures, products, and industry best practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$60,000-$72,000 per year, based on experience Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to manage a fast-paced service operation. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
