Us:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a similar role.
Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor staff within the building. Oversee the day-to-day operations of all employees. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure efficient staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their proper usage, storage, and maintenance. Perform Housekeeping duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, infection control, and safety standards. Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, patients, and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies or urgent situations as needed. High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy. Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, and managing departmental operations. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
