Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and special cleaning projects. Coordinate staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely and thorough cleaning standards are met. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel policies. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Support inventory management by tracking supplies, equipment maintenance, and ordering replenishments as needed. Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently. Promote a safe work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations among housekeeping staff. Experience Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services with a strong background in cleaning techniques. Prior supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality or custodial management is preferred. Knowledge of floor care methods, industrial cleaning equipment, and advanced cleaning procedures. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence. Hands-on experience with janitorial supplies management and inventory control. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
