Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and presentable. The Janitor will play a key part in supporting the overall cleanliness standards, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times. Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly in dumpsters. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify areas needing attention or repair. Use commercial cleaning equipment efficiently and report any maintenance issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work within commercial settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to office buildings, retail spaces, or similar environments. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently while following safety guidelines. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting at least 50lbs, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
