Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct detailed custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold hygiene standards. Execute specialized floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality. Maintain cleanliness of industrial and commercial spaces by handling heavy-duty cleaning tasks efficiently. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure a safe environment. Assist with residential painting projects when required, preparing surfaces and applying paint with precision. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting equipment issues is advantageous. Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies and equipment ensures efficient task completion. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
