Job Description

Job Title:
Custodial Technician Reports to:
Facility Supervisor Purpose of Job:
Performs a combination of janitorial duties to maintain the common areas of the condominium in a clean, sanitary, and orderly manner.
Minimum Skills and Abilities Required Language:
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English Language.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
General knowledge of custodial and commercial cleaning duties.
Physical:
Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, and squat.
Lifting:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Mobility:
Ability to walk stairs and use elevators.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Upkeep:
Responsible for the daily cleanliness of building common areas.
Surfaces:
Cleans, mops, vacuums, and waxes floors and washes windows.
Waste:
Empties trash cans and disposes of waste daily.
Sanitation:
Cleans and disinfects common area bathrooms and fitness equipment.
Grounds:
Sweeps and clears litter from boardwalks, piers, and beach accesses.
Inspection:
Inspects facilities daily to identify specific cleaning needs.
Service:
Displays courtesy, tact, and discretion with owners, guests, and staff.
Safety:
Reports safety hazards and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Meetings:
Attends departmental meetings as required.
Working Conditions Schedule:
Ability to work flexible hours, seven days per week as needed.
Appearance:
Must maintain a neat appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
Environment:
Exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and cleaning products.
Flexibility:
Management retains the right to assign or reassign duties.
Job Type:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
