Full-time Summary:
Ensures that buildings remain clean, safe, and well-maintained, combining routine cleaning and supply management. This role is essential for the comfort, safety, and operational efficiency of the facilities. Description of work- Cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, windows, furniture, restrooms, breakrooms, and public areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
- Waste management, including emptying trash bins, disposing of waste, and replacing liners in shops, restrooms, breakrooms, and office areas.
- Sanitizing bathroom and other areas, such as office workspaces and halls.
- Restocking essential facility supplies, such as toilet paper and hand soap, paper towels and breakroom supplies such as paper plates, forks, spoons etc...
- Keeping Janitorial equipment, such as vacuums and mops in good condition.
- Dusting in high reach areas that may require using a ladder or scissor lift.
- Wear required PPE
- Follows safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Basic Skills and Competency Requirements Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of general Janitorial experience in a commercial environment.
- Safety awareness for handling cleaning chemicals and following health regulations.
- Requires standing, sitting, crawling, and extensive use of hands, arms, legs, and torso.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and climates.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Flexible hours / Willing to work overtime.
