Custodian

The primary responsibility of an ISC Custodian is to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility. Custodial personnel not only provide in-depth cleaning and tidying of the facility, they are also an important part of preventing and correcting deficiencies. Custodial personnel work amid customers and guests of the facility and should possess a strong customer service mindset. All work is performed independently and reports directly to the ISC Lead Custodian.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize proper cleaning agents in the correct quantities to effectively clean and sanitize all areas of the facility per ISC standards including but not limited to: restrooms, locker rooms, public access, admin areas, etc. Collect and dispose of trash/recycling from all areas of the rink Clean and maintain rubber flooring Operate equipment such as commercial vacuum, commercial floor scrubber, pressure washer and other related equipment while performing essential functions Assist with set-up & tear down of tables, chairs, benches, etc. for special events Adhere to all ISC safety and sanitation policies and procedures Report damages or maintenance concerns to the

Availability to work nights, weekends and some holidays Possess a friendly, customer service-oriented mindset Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to use various manual & power cleaning equipment Knowledge and good understanding of various cleaning agents

Physical Requirements:
