In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and residential spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to develop valuable custodial skills while making a positive impact on the spaces we serve. Hours are 5pm-10:30pm cleaning 2 buildings must be okay with working independently!!!M-F Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently across multiple locations Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring conditions Assist with light maintenance tasks including basic repairs or reporting issues to maintenance teams Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as needed to meet organizational standards Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial or commercial cleaning equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours Familiarity with facilities maintenance or porter experience is a plus A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in cleaning and maintenance operations Join us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments!
