Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Satsuma to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our commercial and residential spaces. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Execute custodial tasks with precision to uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings. Carry out industrial cleaning procedures for large-scale facilities, ensuring all areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep to support operational efficiency. Operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations. Support porter duties by managing waste disposal, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable. Prior porter or maintenance roles that involved general building upkeep preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols essential for success in this role. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery effectively.
