This role ensures that all cleaning tasks are completed to company and client standards while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and work alongside crew members to complete daily cleaning tasks Inspect and verify work assignments for quality, accuracy, and completion Provide training, guidance, and support to custodial staff Monitor and maintain supply inventory and report shortages as needed Communicate regularly with Site Manager and client regarding daily operations Ensure compliance with all safety rules and procedures, including proper use of PPE Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, fixtures, and supply restocking Clean breakrooms/kitchenettes, including sinks, countertops, tables, appliances, and replenishment of supplies Perform routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets and hard surface flooring Dust furniture, window treatments, vents, and light fixtures, including high dusting when required Perform light trash removal, including emptying waste baskets and recycling bins Qualifications At least 4 years of custodial/cleaning experience required A minimum 1 year in a janitorial supervisory position is required Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and quality standards Good communication and organizational skills Must be able to pass a background check Essential Duties & Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work in a commercial environment. Essential duties may include standing and walking for extended periods; frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and repetitive movements; lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds; and operating cleaning equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively. Employees may work in varying indoor conditions, around cleaning chemicals, noise, dust, and high-traffic areas. The ability to follow safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain consistent attendance is essential to the role.
